What happens after you send it

    One of us replies

    Usually within a few days. We are students, so it is around classes, but a person reads every message and you will get a real reply rather than a confirmation robot.

    We book one working session

    Around two hours. Bring your last three months of sales and costs in whatever form they exist — a spreadsheet, register exports, or a shoebox.

    You leave with it working

    Your ledger loaded, your categories set, your menu costed if you have one, and a forecast on the screen. Not a plan to do it later.

    We check back monthly

    For as long as it is useful to you. Stop any time; nothing about your books depends on us still being around.

What does it actually cost?

Our work is free, including building the website. What you pay is what the internet charges: about $100 once, for your domain name and the first year of hosting, then $25 to $50 a year for the domain after that. The visibility check, the software advice, the analytics tools and the sit-down cost nothing at all. The full breakdown is here.

Do I have to be in Wichita?

For the in-person setup, yes — we can only get in a car so far. The tools themselves work anywhere, and we will do a setup call with anyone in Kansas who asks. Wichita businesses get first call on our time.

I am not good with computers.

That is most of the people we sit down with. There is nothing to install and no account to create; it opens like a website. The setup session exists precisely so you do not have to work it out alone.

Will you see my figures?

Only what you show us in the room. Your books are stored in your own browser, not on our server, and we have no way to read them remotely. The full detail is here.

I already have a website. Is it worth talking?

Usually, yes — and often the answer is that you do not need a new one. Run the free check first. A lot of sites are fine and simply cannot be read by search engines or map apps, which is an afternoon of work rather than a rebuild.

What if I cannot spare the $100?

Say so in the form. Some of our sponsors cover the domain and first year for businesses that cannot, and we would much rather place one of those than have you not ask.

What if I already have an accountant?

Keep them. An accountant closes your year and keeps you legal; this tells you what to do on a Tuesday. They answer different questions and the two do not conflict.

How long does it take each week?

About ten minutes to enter the week's numbers, less if you can export a CSV from your register. Everything else recomputes on its own.
